I’ve been to Thailand this year too. It was a very nice experience. I landed to Bangkok and then explored Phuket, Phi Phi Island, Krabi and lastly back to Bangkok for another 2 days.

Thailand Must outlaw the dog and cat slaughter. This is unacceptable. Also elephant exploitation using elephants for tourism and rides must be outlawed. You can still swim with elephants and pet them just don't use them for rides and performances.

Please make sure you do your research before advertising resorts as animal sanctuaries. A actual sanctuary wouldn’t let you bathe with elephants since these can cause them a lot of anxiety. Also, in these resorts animals are chained at the end of the day and aren’t allowed to roam free. Make no mistake, these are working elephants. Tourists pay for access and they have to work.
Travel with a translator for language's sake. Not everyone speaks the same language. I recommend Immersive translate translator for the best services plus it's does not charge
