What I did was I have a bunch of necklaces and I have a couple of omegas and I use the slides instead of having to bring multiple necklaces jewelry is the one thing I tend to overpack and this last trip I way over did it on the jewelry. When I pack for Mary Kay conventions the hardest thing is packing the heels they are the hardest shoes to pack when you have to fly for business male travelers is when I fly I bring one black jacket a couple of black skirts and a couple of white blouses depending on the number of days we are away and that way I don't have to bring a whole bunch of different outfits for daytime meetings
That's the exact crossbody bag that I got
I have a crossbody bag similar to that one that I got through Kohl's and I can't remember the brand name but it was the perfect size for my trip
I had a question for packing supplements and vitamins that aren't prescription. I usually buy all of my supplements and my vitamins in bulk so to bring the original containers would be very happy. What is your recommendation for those kinds of supplements
I use 4 prescription eye drops and a few other meds. That pilot having their eye drops taken away would be a disaster for me!
❓❓ Do you have a recommendation for money belt for women? I am very uninformed – what are tips for using one when actually buying something? Thanks for all that you share!
Can’t find packing list in comments. Please tell me where I can find it
So I’m planning on taking a trip this year to Indonesia. The flight is over 22 hours. I have sleep apnea. How do I go about getting sleep on the plane?
I pack prescription meds in my purse, everything else I can buy
Silk underwear is essential if travelling where cold…scrubs are awesome for hot climates…neither take up much room.
Brilliant Always !
FYI, You will likely not be able to take your hair curler iron on your river crews.
Great tips. Thank you for sharing.
I recently bought a converter. Should i pack it in my check-in luggage or place it in my carry-on ?
Hi Laurie. Ever since I watched your travel videos my travel life becomes easier and happier😊 thanks for sharing your travel tips with us. Stay safe.
I will be traveling this December to USA and my problem is my medicines. I have to take my medicines 5 classesand 2 injectables. Can I take 11/2 bxs of ech medicines since I will be staying for 1 1/2 month. its an Invitation from my 5 siblings.
How about making tips for long stay on asian country so many check in and carry on
Tip: pack travel sizes of hair brush, comb, toothbrush
Tip: Use gallon zip lock bags and push out air instead of using compression cubes
Love your videos, as a europearane i travel with a trenchcoat coat and a cashmere sweater, always light
I will do laundry while out for a long trip. I also try my best to choose clothing that will wash together (so mostly medium to dark cloths , no white).
2 weeks before I go….MINK OIL on my extra pair of leather walking shoes.
I pack loose items like underwear and socks in ziplock bags.
Laurie, Thank you so much for your videos. I have watched so many, I feel like you’re a friend w awesome advice. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Question: I see travelers attaching a neck pillow to the outside of their backpack personal item at the airport. I'd like to do this with my memory foam seat cushion. Do you think this would be allowed, or is the cushion too big? TIA!
I wear my bulkiest items on the plane. I wear my thin hoodie and then a heavier jacket over it. I wear my sneakers on the plane and pack 1 pair of sandals and a dressier pair if needed in my suitcase. This way, the bulkier items don't take up a lot of room. I pack thin, lightweight tops. If it gets cool outside, I can add layers.
My passport is in a rfid protected cover.
can I take Clear Care Contact lens solution on carry on international flight to France?
I take old cotton underpants and throw each worn one away the next morning. Have a few spares but no washing needed, ever.
Hi Laurie, I absolutely love your videos. I live in Kenya, but have roots in Europe and travel a lot. One thing I can't recommend are the wheel covers. I got them for my hand luggage and quickly lost two of them. I will be traveling to Oman, Switzerland, Spain and South Africa for slightly more than a month with only hand luggage and a small rucksack. Hopefully, all goes well.😊
What brand of luggage wheel covers did you buy? I see tons of brands on Amazon and want to make sure I’m buying good ones. Thank you. Love your tips.
I would be somewhat wary of the water in some countries. If you shouldn't drink the water in that country then you should get yourself purified or other bottled water for your CPAP machine. Distilled water is used mainly because of all of the minerals and other things in the water. It will not hurt the machine to use bottled water for a short period.
😍😍
What is with the apparent obsession with umbrellas? I have seen several travel channels which seem to think it's important.
Surely, a good quality light raincoat would suffice.🤷
Where do your downloads go? I've tried to get your ultimate packing list at least 5 times; it's nowhere to be found! What am I doing wrong?
The valet tray is so worth the money.
Love your blog, Laurie! We found you can buy distilled water cheap at any store that sells auto batteries (they usually sell car tires, too) – After searching all over the city for pharmacies.
I gave up on finding a dual-voltage curling iron and just bought one in Europe (220v and local plug type).
My biggest problem is resisting the temptation to bring extra "just in case" stuff (makeup, clothes, personal items). My new philosophy is to bring extra Money to buy something if I really need it – and I usually don't.
Have you ever come back from a vacation having used every single thing you took with you?
Me neither!
Packing cubes are the best! I just closed my suitcase, and there is sooo much room . I really loved all your tips and I did some MAJOR editing of my stuff!
Thanks for all your helpful tips
Any special tips about Greece? I have a Cpap and assumed I could carry it on without issues like other places but I’m 3 days away from departure and my husband checked online and they say I have to have a doctors note for the Cpap! So now I’m stressed. I’m hoping it can just count as my 1 year olds handbag since we bought her a seat. Wish me luck! Hopefully they don’t check
